Streaky prepares to sleep, but is suddenly greeted by his nephew Squeak who is going to meet with the "Super Cat super fan club". He asks that Streaky come along, even though he didn't come the last time, making excuses. Krypto arrives and they notice there's a sudden power surge throughout Metropolis. The duo go to discover what is happening in the city, and while flying in the sky they're greeted by buzzing bugs who buzz around them in huge crowds and finally catch on to what's happening. Over at Luthorcorp, they discover that Ignatius is up to no good and is using a giant bug zapper to get bugs to eat for dinner. Krypto goes to stop him and while they fight, Streaky is accidentally zapped by the bug zapper which suddenly turns him invisible! The freak accident suddenly becomes his newfound power and Streaky loves it.

While home, Streaky tries to sleep and is about to be given a bath by Andrea and decides to disappear and loves that he's finally getting his way. It even helps with his crime-fighting when in the distance a young cat is being chased by a group of dogs; Streaky turns invisible and beats them up confusing them with his powers. He arrives at the "Super Cat fan club" to speak and explains about his powers but much to his surprise discovers he's fading away piece by piece and is having trouble keeping his powers in order. Streaky now discovers he can no longer turn visible and begs for Krypto's help. Krypto, in desperation paints Streaky up. I found it really funny how Krypto paints Streaky visible with streaks of color, and in the end how Streaky finally becomes visible by getting zapped by the bug zapper. It was a funny episode helped by Streaky's antics.

Bones of Contention

Written by: Andy Merrill
Directed by: Scott Jeralds

Up in the "Dog Stars" spaceship, Hotdog trains in the ship's obstacle course being sprayed by mega-hoses and testing his flaming abilities, as brainy dog looks on challenging him. Meanwhile Krypto and the other Dog Stars watch the galaxy for crimes, and are suddenly greeted by a package. (One really funny touch to this episode is yet another reference to a classic cartoon as the Dog Stars doorbell is the same doorbell from the "Jetson's" cartoon. It's really amusing how the cartoon has managed to pay homage to a lot of classic cartoons of the past.) The huge package is from an ambassador and when they open it they discover a lot of squeaky toys.

Oddly enough, while using the squeaky toys they suddenly begin getting competitive and start to fight with one another, and we learn the delivery dog that delivered the toys wasn't just anyone, he was Snooky Wookums of Mekanikat. He's planned an evil scheme, with the squeaky toys making the dogs fight and snap with one another. They continue becoming more and more competitive and angry at one another and part ways as Mekanikat breaks in to the ship and tries to take over. He's interrupted by Hot Dog who runs off to Earth to explain to Krypto what is happening, but Streaky snaps at him angrily scaring him away. Hotdog takes away Krypto's bone, snapping him out of the funk, and explains that the bones are making them all cranky and now they must gather the remaining members of the Dog Stars taking away their bones one by one and finally reclaim their ship.
