Is this actually necessary?

My favorite portrayal of heat vision is from Superman Returns.

Yeah they are really ridiculous at forcing progressive views throughout the show. They just can’t focus on making the show the best version of itself it can be. Unfortunately if you aren’t attacking some ideology or social issue, then you don’t have a place on TV.

I can’t seem to find it anywhere, but why is Supergirl’s heat vision blue? I don’t know why, but it bothers me. It should be red.

Dont’t know, I’m just speculating but maybe it has something to do making it more visible on screen than red. Being shinnier may allow them to have more spectacular light effects. Anyway I also think that it should be red.

The blue part of a flame (such as in a Bunsen burner( the range is between 2,600 and 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit and its the most oxygen-rich type of flame. The red part of the flame is only 900-1200 degrees roughly. I think they chose blue for that reason. Or there is no science behind it. She’s always been more powerful than superman so perhaps her heat vision burns hotter than his.

On the show, Superman’s heat vision is blue too.

I now in the comics both of their heat vision is supposed to be hotter than the sun and it’s always red. But thanks for the help.

And since when is Supergirl more powerful than Superman? I know when they reintroduced her back in the early 2000’s in the comics they implied that she was stronger than her cousin, but Superman said he is the one actually stronger, but he is more used to his powers and knows how to restrain himself better than his younger, more inexperienced cousin.

I think # 2 was more impressive than # 1.
The effects they had for Mettalo’s robot hand melt look realistic to me.
Poor Kelex, that poor robot. I hope they make another one like him.I wonder if they do make another one, would he also be called Kelex or Kelex 2?
