Actor Thomas Lennon has announced via his TikTok and Instagram accounts that he’s reprising his role as Mr. Mxyzptlk for Season 6 of “Supergirl”.
Sporting a mask and a unique hairstyle in the post, Lennon captioned his video with “It’s happening. You won’t be ready. @supergirlcw”.
Lennon appeared as the mischievous imp from the 5th Dimension in the Season 5 episode titled “It’s a Super Life” (which aired on Sunday, February 23). In that episode Mxyzptlk returned with a proposition for Kara – what if she could go back in time and tell Lena her secret before Lex did, would things turn out different? Looking back over key moments throughout the series, Kara had to decide if she wanted to change history to become friends with Lena again.
Fans may recall that back in Season 2 Peter Gadiot played the role of Mxy, who attempted to win the affections of Kara Danvers in the episodes titled “Luthors” and “Mr. & Mrs. Mxyzptlk”.
It isn’t known how many episodes Thomas Lennon, who best known for his work as a cast member on MTV’s “The State” and as Felix Unger on the CBS series “The Odd Couple,” will be appearing in.
