I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Supergirl and Batwoman are NOT the World’s Finest. Superman and Batman are the World’s Finest. Supergirl and Batwoman don’t even share the same world to even fit that title. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of Supergirl’s show, but I’m not a fan of Batwoman’s show. They have dissed Batman way too many times for me to even care about that series. Well, when it comes to what the CW does to these characters nothings a surprise any more. As much as there’s been some what, what I would call startling plot twists in this crisis, I find them par for the CW course. I’m not saying it’s not well made but maybe a bit overboard with the amount of characters and their actions they’ve thrown at us.
But I’m with you regarding Batwoman. I almost have to strain myself getting through each episode. The series is certainly no continuation of any Batman!
I’m so done watching Batwoman.
I think it’s Worlds Finest in the sense of (for lack of a better way to put it) a Super and a Bat being friends and teaming up. Basically that Kara and Kate are carrying on what should ideally be a proud tradition. But it probably doesn’t help that the CW shows have this track record of downplaying or putting down Superman and Batman and also that in general so much material has been devoted to Superman and Batman fighting each other so it comes off like the male heroes are a couple of meatheads while the female heroes are… Read more »
I just feel that they don’t have a rightful claim to that title. I mean it would be one thing if Superman and Batman gave them the ok to use that title, but they haven’t. They just took it well knowing it belongs to Superman and Batman. The people in charge of these shows gave them this title well knowing it belongs to Superman and Batman I mean. They need to come up with their own power name. Something like world’s wonders for example. It honors the Superman Batman duo title, but is still different. I’m just not feeling it.… Read more »
And I just also wish that they could use some stories that are from Supergirl’s history instead of constantly taking from Superman’s, and now Batman’s as well with the world’s finest title. Or at the very least come up with a story that hasn’t been in any comics before.
