In late March Diamond Comic Distributors announced that they would be closing down their warehouses as a result of COVID-19, which left comic book stores (if they are still open) with no new issues of comic books to sell.
According to BleedingCool.com, DC Comics and other major publishers are devising a temporary solution to the comic book distribution problem by using the ComicHub point-of-sale system.
From mid-April, comic book stores using the ComicHub system will be able to offer digital versions of comic books to their customers, which can then be redeemed for a physical copy from that store once shipping resumes.
We will bring you further updates on this development as they come to hand.

This is a really interesting idea. Hopefully gives a way for readers to still get their issues, support their store and still get the physical issue for their collection.
This might keep some stores going at this time.
