Syfy Developing Lobo Spin-Off Series

With Lobo set to make a sizeable dent in the second season of “Krypton”, Syfy today announced that they are developing a spin-off series about “The Main Man”, starring Emmett J. Scanlan in the lead role.

Described as “a foul-mouthed, dangerous, irascible, intergalactic bounty hunter”, Lobo first appeared in issue #3 of the “Omega Men” comic book back in 1983, and quickly became a fan favorite.

“Krypton” Executive Producer Cameron Welsh will be Executive Producer and writer of the new Lobo series.

I can’t help but think that this news is both funny and sad at the same time.
Like laughing at it and asking “ they’re kidding right?” And sad because fans keep asking for a new Superman tv series, yet we keep getting ignored. We get shows that are somehow related to Superman in some way but they don’t include him. That’s just sad.
