Survey Says Superman is America’s Favorite Superhero

According to a new survey conducted by OnePoll on behalf of VisitAnaheim.org, Superman is still America’s favorite Superhero!

The survey of 2,000 Americans saw Superman receive 47% of the vote, with Spider-Man, Batman, Captain America and Iron Man making up the top five.

Lex Luthor just made the top five in the villains category, while 63% of people believe Superman would win in a fight with Batman… No surprise there.

America’s top ten favorite superheroes:

  2. Spider-Man
  3. Batman
  4. Captain America
  5. Iron Man
  6. Wonder Woman
  7. Aquaman
  8. Captain Marvel
  9. Black Panther
  10. Wolverine

America’s top ten favorite villains:

  1. Joker
  2. Catwoman
  3. Venom
  4. Thanos
  5. Lex Luthor
  6. Magneto
  7. Penguin
  8. Harley Quinn
  9. Mystique
  10. Loki

Yes!!! Superman is the #1 top superhero!!! The Greatest Superhero!There’s no other superhero greater than Superman!!! 😀
But Catwoman beat out Lex??
Really??? I mean I understand Venom, Joker, and Thanos, but Catwoman??? Really???

I mean I really don’t consider Catwoman a super villain. I see her more as a anti-hero. Like Deadpool for example. Yeah he does bad stuff but he also does some good from time to time. So while it’s true that she does steal stuff and break the law sometimes, she’s also known to help Batman as well. Dose she do bad things? Yeah, but I wouldn’t necessarily classify her as a villain. But I still can’t believe that she beat out Lex. He’s done way more horrible things than Catwoman at least as far as I know of. I… Read more »

Unfortunately I don’t put a lot of trust in surveys but I believe in my heart that Superman is America’s favorite superhero and if he isn’t then he should be. People who aren’t fans of him should be a shamed of themselves. There’s no one more American than Superman. He’s the very definition of the term…SUPERHERO. My favorite superhero of all time is: Superman My favorite supervillain of all time is: Darkseid I’m surprised Darkseid wasn’t on the list of favorite supervillains. The point (the good point) with Superman is that he recognizes himself as an american citicen. And he is a real patriot with a better understanding of the word than most americans: he sees him as a citicen of this world too and understands that fighting (blindly) only for America is never good for anyone, not USA nor the World. He does what is needed to help everyone even if it means to stand against his President and government. It doesn’t matter if it’s a super-duty or his favourite job, as a journalist.
