SPOILER WARNING! The following information and photos contain spoiler details for an upcoming episode of “Superman & Lois”.
Photos from the set of “Superman & Lois” appear to show us Jordan Elsass dressed in a Superboy costume.
The outfit consisting of a black leather jacket, red gloves, red pants, studded belt and punk hairstyle are an obvious homage to the version of Superboy who first appeared after the death of Superman, as the younger clone of the Man of Steel.
While that version of Superboy become known as Conner Kent, Jordan Elsass’ character of Jonathan Kent, unlike his twin brother Jordan, has not exhibited any super powers to date. Is Jonathan set to gain powers after all? Or does this have something to do with the reality Bizarro comes from? We’ll have to wait and see as new episodes of “Superman & Lois” return to our screens from next week.
I would love to see the actor who play Connor Kent from the Titan series appear in Superman/Lois down the road.
I have mixed feelings on “combining” the first and third versions of Connor’s outfit… Having flashbacks to the fanfilms I made in High School!
Here’s my big theory about this episode. I think Jonathan is dressed up as a version of Superboy for Holloween. At the start of this season, Sarah just got home from summer camp. That gives a hint on when these episodes take place during the year. So I’m guessing there’s a Holloween party and Jonathan is dressed as a version of Superboy for Halloween, but something bad happens and his dad comes to save him.
