It’s an overwhelming YES from Superman fans, with 70% saying DC should reinstate Superman’s secret identity status in comic book continuity. Interestingly 6% of fans were against the secret identity returning.

The problem with this particular development is that stories haven’t really done much to explore Superman’s life now that his secret is out. His life is playing out exactly the same way it would if his identity was still secret, making me wonder “what was the point?”
If DC won’t do anything interesting with Superman’s public identity, then it might as well retcon the reveal.
