In the latest Superman Homepage Member Poll we asked you the following question:

Should the “S” shield be on Superman’s cape?

Initially removed in animation because it was claimed it was too hard to animate the “S” on a flapping cape, the “S” shield on Superman’s cape has come and gone across different TV shows and movies in recent years. But Superman fans (65%) think it should always be there. Very few (6%) are against it completely.

I’ve always liked the “S” shield on the cape. I thought it was a nice touch. In my opinion, it’s unique because no other superhero has their symbol on their cape. Furthermore, being that Superman is the first superhero, I think it’s only fitting that he continues to have the “S” shield on his cape.

The time and need for a refreshing Superman era is upon us. There is so much hate and violence in the Superman movies and the comics of today. Along with the “woke” business and turning Superman gay, I have just about stopped even thinking about Superman, much less paying good money for bad movies and worst comics. Yeah, I for one are ready for a change.
