Superman vs Hulk – The Fight (Part 4)

After a four year break, animator Michael Habjan has posted Part 4 of his long-running “Superman vs Hulk” fan-created animated fight sequence.

Since the launch of Part 1 in 2011, the animation and graphics in each new episode has improved, with the latest installment the best yet.

When last we left our heroes Superman was mightily flying Hulk up into the sky. Habjan says, “I hear all the time, Superman would just fly Hulk into space and be done with it. I always thought Hulk would put up a bit of a fight and maybe not just let Superman fly him into space. Anyway the fight in the sky I thought would be cool after a lot of ground fighting. So this is my interpretation of what might happen if they were to do battle in the sky.”

Pretty fun to watch! WB needs to learn something from this.

michael habjan has done some incredible work here. just terrific. the 4 year wait was totally worth it! each part shows upgrades to the vfx, and the christopher reeve skin is amazing. plus i love the nods to mos as well. well done sir!

Michael Habjan should be given a job at WB’s animation department. I would love to see this as a weekly animated series or full animated movie. I applaud your work Mr. Habjan, well done.

Well it’s about time we got a new clip. The wait was worth it.

Superman’s flying in this short film is better than anything I saw in MoS, BvS, and JL in my opinion.

The animation is spectacular, but the science is weak. In the thin stratosphere, Hulks hand slam gimmick would be mostly ineffective. And I’m skeptical Hulk could survive an assault from Superman. His speed alone would defeat Hulk.
Sorta interesting tho’ — I’ll check episodes 1 – 3.
Is there ever gonna be a conclusion – or is this an homage to the old Marvel trick of having their heroes battle it out – only to result in an inconclusive draw each and every time?!?

That is not quite true. It is like water and concrete. Water is harmless suposedly but if you fall to the ocean at enough speed, there is no difference in impacting to water than impacting to concrete. The same would happen with Hulk. Maybe the air in the stratosphere is thinner but Hulk’s massive strength would make it no different from sea level. As he says in the youtube comments, Mike is having a hard time making the last videos. He has a job, family, and making them take too long foe him. From 2nd to 3rd video it took… Read more »
