Great fan made trailer. The Christopher Reeve Superman Anthology are my favorite Superman films of all time. Specifically 1, 2 & 4. I still like 3 though of coarse it’s just at the bottom of the Reeve list for me. I bought the recently released extended Blu-ray version when it came out and it’s so far my favorite version of the first film but it is still of course incomplete. I would love if they released completely uncut versions of the first two films. I read somewhere long time ago that first two films uncut are nearly or over 4… Read more »

I’m as big a fan of this movie as anybody. BUT….it’s been manipulated to death. It’s time to stop rearranging it and let it’s legacy rest.

I respectfully disagree redcape. And believe me when I say I mean no disrespect to you or your opinion, but I believe that this film should always be celebrated. For it is a gift to every Superman fan of every generation. A gift that is a film that makes us “believe a man can fly.” May it continue to make us believe, and may this film always be celebrated. 🙂

Not disagreeing with anything you’re saying. All I’m pointing out is it’s time to let STM rest on it’s original accomplishments. There’s simply no need to keep manipulating any part of it.

I don’t think that they’re manipulating anything. I think that they’re only adding on to a legacy. And that it should always be celebrated with every version of this legendary film that comes out. 🙂
I only hope that one day maybe even when Superman The Movie reaches its 50th anniversary, that it could be rereleased in theaters. I’ve never seen it on the big screen. I hope that I will one day. It’s my favorite Superman movie and favorite movie as well. So for me that would be a dream come true.
🙂

Not gonna lie, you couldn’t get me to care for yet another Superman fanedit, but the technical prowess required to pull this off makes this one worth checking out. I’m looking forward to scouring for links to this behind thirty different VPNs.

I wish that they would rerelease this movie every ten years. That way it would introduce every new generation of Superman fans and movie viewers to this film.

I hafta say, I’m disappointed with this. I was hoping that “digitally enhanced” meant new, better f/x to replace the severely outdated ones of the original.
