A fan film project titled “Superman: The Final Cut” pays tribute to the cast and crew of “Superman: The Movie” by attempting to restore and digitally enhance the visual effects of the 1978 film. Below is the trailer for the project, which can be downloaded as a 10Gb file that runs for nearly 3 hours.

Just downloaded the movie and watched the new credits and death of Krypton, looks really good. If your a fan of this movie, which I am sure all of us are, you should add this remastered version to your collection. Its worth the time for the download.

Download and install qbittorrent (google it), provided you’re on Windows; then download the .torrent file through one of the links on that Facebook post (Mega, Google drive etc.) and open it with qbittorrent. It’ll prompt you to download the movie; choose a folder and let it do the work.

I wanted to talk about the multi-verse today and the possibility of seeing multiple versions of Superman on the big screen. The reason why I bring this up is because of recent news of rumors that Michael Keaton will be returning to the role of Batman for the DCEU. It’s rumored that Ezra Miller‘s Flash will be traveling the multi-verse and meet Tim Burton’s Batman. There are also rumors of Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing the role of the Thomas Wayne Batman from flashpoint as well. Just got done watching it; it’s technically very impressive. Some of the restoration looks great, some of it not so much; some of the CGI fits well, some of it not so much. My biggest issue are some inserted shots that clash really badly and break the cohesion of the cinematography, but still, a lot of really hard work clearly went into this and these complaints aren’t worth missing out on movie for.
