Great to see that the CW Superman and Lois will have a comic soon. And is that Superman drawn as Sylvester Stallone from Stallone’s Over the Top film? That’s hilarious! 😀

I think that I remember hearing that Stallone was rumored to have been considered for the role of Superman for Superman the movie prior Christopher Reeve’s casting. So is this a nod to that rumor?

And Tom Grummett is doing the art for that issue! He’s one of my favorite ’90s Superman artists.

Sighhhhh…. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. TELL TYLER TO DITCH THE STUBBLE. SUPERMAN is supposed to look clean shaven. This comic cover only emphasizes how…just…how…wrong!…this looks.

Of course, I am but one voice. The majority may disagree. Let’s please hear from the rest of you, if only to kick me off my unsteady soap box.

Does he still have a stubble? I didn’t notice. I will look to see if he has one in the next episode. I think that they gave him one to make him look a bit older. Truthfully I’m not so much bothered by it now as I was last year. He still needs that spit curl though.

Thank you, Superman2878. Up ’til now, I thought I was alone in this. That being said, if you didn’t notice it, then I may well be crying foul for no reason. Anyone else have an opinion on this?
