There’s a Superman joke referenced in a new promo for “Powerless”, the workplace comedy set at one of the worst insurance companies in America… which exists within the DC Universe.
Two DC Comics characters (presumed to be Jack O’Lantern and Crimson Fox) are fighting high above the city streets. Below them Emily Locke (played by Vanessa Hudgens) asks, “What’s that up in the sky? Is it a bird? Is it a plane?” A fellow college (played by Danny Pudi) remarks, “You seriously can’t tell the difference between a bird and a plane?”
“Powerless” premieres in the USA on Thursday, February 2, at 8:30pm ET/PT on NBC.
