Neat sculpt! I like the way they handled the Reborn belt. They don’t have the shield shape poking out of the top nor is the belt making an arrow to his junk. I also really like that they do the yellow \S/ on the back of the cape but leave the negative spaces in red. Just a really nice job on the costume overall. The Brainiac head option is kinda overly gruesome IMO.

Can’t afford this to thing in the least though.

Great looking statue, though the face reminds me of a young Bruce Campbell.

Seeing this costume and knowing what’s coming just makes me realize by the time they can make a figure they change his costume. By Action Comics 1000 Superman will have had 8 different costumes in the comics since New 52 kicked off 7 years ago. Now we are practically back where we started.

I like the shade of red/blue/yellow they used. Not to dark or light. Is the pattern of the suit the same as the comics? I think I see some extra lines by the arms and belt.

Well, the classic costume was never the oh-so awful relic some needed to pretend it was so I think it was always conceivable that it was gonna come back eventually. That said the suit for this sculpt ain’t half bad. If this were a movie or tv suit I wouldn’t mind. Heck, this kind of takes the Tyler Hoechlin style cape attachment and does it right!

Though really if you did the trunks for it and designed them and the yellow belt in the same spirit as the rest of this suit it’d work.

They should change Tyler’s suit to this design. Not that Tyler’s current look is bad, it’s just this one would even better for Superman.

The only thing I’d would change would be brainiac’s robot head. I would’ve liked to have seen Superman flying over fortress crystals or Metropolis. Although I do prefer superman’s classic look over any redesign. It’s still an awesome statue. A Super work of art.

To the pretenders I say; Plenty of relics that are great works of art that more than stand of test of time:) I guess Now Superman statues come in two formats; Legendary Classic and this one Premium! The gold clip on the Hoechlin’s cape makes it look to gaudy – it looks much better on this statue. Going forward, if they revamp the suit to match Action 1000 cover – hopefully, the Hoechlin’s crew should reconsider and drop the gold band-tape on the cape! I love how this “S” flows and stands out on the back of the cape much… Read more »

Nice! I’m digging that belt, and the other accent designs. The \S/ on the back is great.

The \S/ on the cape looks like the one from the Superman Earth one series. Speaking of Superman earth one, will there be any more stories to that version of superman? Its been a while since volume three.

The best thing about not having any children yet is that I can look at this and declare that it’s the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life and I won’t be judged for it.

This is the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life. Maybe after KITT. Maybe.

The price is a no-no, of course, but it’s gorgeous to look at, anyway. Best rendition of the costume, as well.
