Superman Mentioned in Marvel’s “Eternals” Movie

It seems that Superman is known to the Marvel Universe, with the Man of Steel rating a mention in the new featurette released for the “Eternals” movie.

40 seconds into the two and a half minute long video, a young boy (Phastos’ son) points to Ikaris and exclaims, “Dad! That’s Superman! With the cape, and you were shooting laser beams out of your eyes.”

The character of Ikaris (played by Richard Madden) does possess a number of powers similar to Superman, including super-strength, flight, enhanced senses, invulnerability and heat-vision of sorts.

“Eternals” arrives in theaters November 5.
