“Superman: Man of Tomorrow” Official Trailer

Additionally, Superman villains Lobo and Parasite will also feature in the film, with Ryan Hurst (The Walking Dead) voicing the role of “The Man Man,” while the Parasite (Rudy Jones) will be voice by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Brett Dalton.

The rest of the voice cast includes Ike Amadi (Mass Effect 3) as fellow superhero Martian Manhunter, Neil Flynn (Scrubs) as Jonathan Kent, and Bellamy Young (Scandal) as Martha Kent. I’m getting the impression that this film will be a mix of the Superman American alien story and Superman Secret origins. I like what I see so far from this trailer. I like how they made parasite look like a monster instead of a guy in a purple jumpsuit. I just hope that Superman will be wearing his super suit for more than just the last twenty minutes of the film. I’m still not sure about the lack of yellow in the belt though. Still, this animated film is looking great and I can’t wait to see it. I look… Read more »

This film looks really good to me so far. It feels like were getting back to pre-new 52 Superman, who I was not a big fan of. To answer the question posted by superman2878, if you mean Drake and Josh from Nickelodeon, no its not the same actor. This actor appeared on Glee and played the Music Meister on the 2 part Supergirl / Flash crossover.

The dialogue… uh… the dialogue doesn’t sell me and I’ve been repeatedly burned by these DTV animated things lately. But, new direction, I’ll check it out.

100% agree. Not sure if we needed another origin story.

Lex: “ What’s the S for?”
Superman: “Superman.”

So it is an S! 😀

Sorry about that. A little joke referencing MoS. 😉

Not feeling this so far. If they were going to pull from something I wish it wasn’t American Alien. Don’t like the idea of Lobo being his first super-brawl and it seems way too early for him to be meeting Martian Manhunter who is apparently an already established hero before Superman?
