I imagine Superman: The Movie Clark exiting the Fortress in 1978 after spending 12 years in training there (dating back to 1966), talking to people and being like … “So, correct me if I’m wrong, but is President Bobby Kennedy on his second term now? … What about that Nixon guy? Did he ever do anything else? I’m sure it turned out great … Do the Beatles have a new album coming out this year?”

I have to ask. Why didn’t Lois recognize Superman as the boy who outran the train from 12 years prior? Like saying “ Hey! I remember seeing you years ago from when you were running as fast as the train in Smallville!”

Well seeing as she doesn’t recognize him without the glasses I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet she wouldn’t remember the kid running by the trainer 12 years ago haha
