With writers strike finally over, Variety speculates that production on a number of projects could soon get back underway.
According to the article, as long as the SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) strike is also resolved soon, filming for “Superman: Legacy” could begin as early as March 2024.
With James Gunn having completed his script prior to the writers strike, the project is well into the pre-production phase, with set design, costume design and other art departments busy working in the background.
“Superman: Legacy”, which will star David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, is scheduled to be released July 11, 2025.
