According to Wikipedia, One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation. Following its publication, the webcomic quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.

Even though I am not a fan of superheroes fighting each other, there’s no possible way one punch man can beat Superman. Superman didn’t even need to get near him to win.
My vote will always go to Superman. I’m so tired of hearing about anime. Why is that even so popular? Everything about it is so stupid. The animation style is so quirky. I also wish they’d stop putting anime style elements in the animation for the current animated DC films. For example Superman and everyone else in the animated Flashpoint Paradox film look like they’re from Japan or something. Let that anime stuff stay the Asian countries we have the greatest character right here in our own country. Superman is an American symbol. Besides either character could win. It depends… Read more »
“Everything about it is so stupid.” You’re entitled to your opinion but you’re also just hanging a lampshade on your willfull ignorance there. Inspiration can come from anywhere and there is nothing wrong with it coming from anime. What are American animators supposed to limit themselves to only what comes from the West or what comes from America? Only watch Disney and old Filmation cartoons? That’s ridiculous and stifling. I was thinking that one punch man needs to throw a punch to win a fight. Superman however doesn’t need to. He’s that good. 😀
It’s weird how some will complain Superman is too powerful yet conveniently forget the variety of powers he has for a “vs” scenario. Happens with “vs Batman” stuff all the time. Superman wouldn’t need to punch him.
Also One Punch Man is kind of a parody so he might as well be fighting The Tick or something.
