Was very disappointed to read Jurgens say in an interview with Newsarama that Johnathan and Martha are not alive in the new continuity. Also having them die the night of his senior prom is gratuitous IMO.
After reading ReBorn, I expected them to stay dead. But many members on here were suggesting they’d be alive, which gave me hope. And now that hope is crushed. LOL. I haven’t read this interview yet, but I guess he cements the fact that we are still physically in the n52 timeline after all.
No, the new timeline is cherry picked from both New 52 and Pre New 52(which itself means picking from Pre and Post Crisis) while also having things that are unique to it making it something else entirely. Some of the particulars of that and how it effects the greater DCU will apparently be revealed as we go.
