Superman Artist Viktor Bogdanovic Signs New Deal with DC Comics

Newsarama.com reports that Viktor Bogdanovic, the artist who will move from his current role on “New Super-Man” to take on the art duties on “Action Comics”, has signed a new deal to “create content solely” for DC Comics and Vertigo.

“Hiring an artist like Viktor, who has clean lines and clear characters, was perfect to launch New Super-Man,” said Bob Harras, DC’s Editor-In-Chief. “With this success, I’m looking forward to seeing what Viktor does this summer with Action Comics. We have an incredible creative team here at DC and we’re always looking for talented new writers and artists to join our ranks.”

“Drawing the Man of Steel himself in Action Comics is another childhood dream come true,” Bogdanovic said. “There are exciting things happening at DC right now and I’m delighted to be a part of it.”

Bogdanovic will make the transition to “Action Comics” in June.

I like his style, its very reminiscent to Greg Cupullo’s.
I’m not to fond of Patch Zircher’s style on Action Comics, I just feel his style doesn’t fit Superman as much as it would say Batman. So I hope Bogdanovic is taking over for him, if he is moving on to another title.
