“Supergirl’ Wins Best Superhero TV Series Saturn Award

The Saturn Awards took place last night, and despite a wide and varied field of strong competitors, Supergirl took top honors, winning the Best Superhero TV Series award, as presented by Cameron Cuffe, of Krypton.

Congratulations to the cast, crew, and everyone responsible for the Supergirl series.
How fitting that Supergirl’s Grandpa Seg-El, was the one who presented Kara with the award.

I do wish that they didn’t include politics into their speech though. I just don’t like it whenever politics is mixed into anything related to Superman,Supergirl or anything related to them. I watch Supergirl for Supergirl, not for a political statement. I believe that politics divides and excludes some viewers. I’m not advocating one political view over another. I’m just asking to keep politics out of the show. That way no one can be offended over a political view or political statements within the episodes of the series. Sman2878…that’s because for some 40 years…Hollywood has been run by the communist Chinese Government…and Warner Brothers is among those companies. Go against the liberal narrative, there goes the money!

I just don’t think that it’s right to use a character that stands for Truth, Justice, and the American way, and use that character for only one side of a political argument. What about the Supergirl fans who don’t agree with their political messages? I feel that they are being unfair to those fans.I remember years ago when the electIon of 08 was taking place, there was a Superman comic where Clark and Lois were talking about the then Presidential candidate Obama and the then Presidential candidate McCain.
