Additionally, it was revealed today that Kevin Conroy, the actor synonymous with the voice of Batman in animated form, will be appearing as “Old Bruce Wayne” during the crossover, while Black Lightning, the character from The CW series of the same name, will also be included.
“…it was revealed today that Kevin Conray…”
That’s actually Kevin Conroy.
Kevin Conroy as a live version of Bruce Wayne. This will be interesting to see. I’m a fan of his animated Batman, and I’m very curious to see what he will bring to a live action version of Bruce.
Still my favorite Batman actor of all time despite never having portrayed him in live-action. Having him play an elder Bruce Wayne is awesome.
This is the only thing in the CW DC shows I have an interest in seeing. And it’s more of an interest in the novelty of it all than the actual story.
I hope that like the original Crisis, Supergirl sacrifices herself to save the multiverse or the Earth.
I got a feeling that if they do that in any form it will be Tyler’s Superman and then Oliver will take the place of Barry.
I think that you might be right on that MattComics. Supergirl has her series, and it wouldn’t make sense for her to die half way through her fifth season. If anything, they might pull a switch in the story and sacrifice Tyler’s Superman instead. Although I can’t be sure on that either since there’s still very little info on this upcoming crossover. However I do admit that it wouldn’t make much sense for them to stray to far away from the source material. Yes they could change some things but I don’t think that they would change alot of the… Read more »
I think there was an agreement made with Oliver and the Monitor in order for Barry and Kara to survive the last crossover, which will result in Oliver’s death. Good way to end the series.
What you said is true. There was an agreement in the last crossover to spare Kara and Barry, however in episode 160 of season 7 of Arrow, in the future ( most likely indicating that the crisis had long since passed)while at Oliver’s grave, Felicity is approached by the Monitor, who then says that he will take her to her husband. And then proceeds to take her to Oliver. So it’s possible that maybe Oliver doesn’t die and that maybe he instead faked his own death. And quite possibly the Monitor is the only one that can bring Felicity to… Read more »
I wonder if Brandon’s Superman will have a scene with Kevin’s Bruce. Or Kevin’s Bruce in a scene with Burt’s Robin. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a scene with Bruce and Batwoman.
I wonder who else will show up in the crossover. I’ve heard rumors but I don’t want to say what those rumors are in case they are false rumors. Until it’s verified by the Superman Homepage I’ll wait to say about what I’ve heard.
I do think that there’s still more to the crossover that has yet to be announced. If I had to guess, we will probably learn more in the following weeks. Even more so by September and October.
