“Supergirl” Series Finale Double-Episode Synopsis

The CW has released the official synopsis for the double-episode series finale of “Supergirl”.

The first of the two episodes is titled “The Last Gauntlet” and is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Tuesday, November 9 at 8.00pm ET/PT.

THE PENULTIMATE EPISODE KICKS OFF THE TWO-HOUR FINALE FOR “SUPERGIRL”

In the penultimate buildup to the season finale, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the super friends take drastic action after a loved one is kidnapped by Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) and Lex (guest star Jon Cryer). An unlikely ally steps in to help the team.

The episode was directed by Glen Winter with story by J. Holtham and teleplay by Derek Simon & Jay Faerber.

The final episode is titled “Kara” and is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Tuesday, November 9 at 9.00pm ET/PT.

THE EPIC SERIES FINALE BRINGS BACK FAMILIAR FACES AND FEATURES A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING

In the epic series finale, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is joined by familiar faces from the past to help her stop Lex (guest star Jon Cryer) and Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) for good. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) prepare to walk down the aisle. Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan and Chris Wood return for the series finale.

The episode was directed by Jesse Warn with story by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller and teleplay by Rob Wright & Derek Simon.

Looing foward to it. I still wish The CW would have split it up into two episodes instead of double episode.

Since this will be the final episode of Supergirl, I’m really hoping that the main focus of the episode will be on Supergirl. I have no issues with the other characters having some screen time to wrap up their parts of the story but the main focus should be on Kara. Like how it was for her series premiere. Yes we saw the rest of the cast have screen time as well, but it didn’t overshadow Supergirl’s screen time or her importance. I enjoyed the first two seasons of Supergirl that’s all I can say.
I remember watching Dean Cain’s Superman series. I enjoyed watching until I got messy with the Luther storylines. Trust me if there’s anymore Super series don’t include anything Luther.
