The CW has released a gallery of 29 photos from the 20th and final episode of “Supergirl”.
The final episode is titled “Kara” and is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Tuesday, November 9 at 9.00pm ET/PT.
THE EPIC SERIES FINALE BRINGS BACK FAMILIAR FACES AND FEATURES A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING
In the epic series finale, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is joined by familiar faces from the past to help her stop Lex (guest star Jon Cryer) and Nyxly (Peta Sergeant) for good. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) prepare to walk down the aisle. Mehcad Brooks, Jeremy Jordan and Chris Wood return for the series finale.
The episode was directed by Jesse Warn with story by Robert Rovner & Jessica Queller and teleplay by Rob Wright & Derek Simon.
Looking at the images of Mon-el, I’m so glad that Superman’s suit was updated for his own series. The metal shoulder clasps for Mon-el works for him, and traditionally he has clasps for his suit in the comics, but for Superman, it just wasn’t a good look. Not sure if Superman will appear though.
This can’t come fast enough for me.
The show started off well but at a certain point (I don’t know when) it went downhill.
Never missed an episode though.
At this point I’m just hoping that for the series finale they give Supergirl the same amount of focus and spotlight that she had when the series started. I just feel that in this final season there was more on a focus and spotlight on every other character but Supergirl. I mean the series is called Supergirl, and yet it became “Superfriends” at some point. I just think it doesn’t look good whenever a show takes away the focus of the main character and gives it to supporting characters instead. Ugh this “final” season has been a wretched bore. I had high hopes early on the phantom zone escape and reuniting with her father but then it went to sleep. I think they purposely made it like this so fans would be able to let go and move on to Superman and Lois. Regardless, its over. I think she’s going to run off to the future like she did in the Justice League animated series. I really really wish they had spent more time on her as a teenager.. those stories were so good… but… its all in the whatever… Read more »
