The CW has released the episode description for the 14th episode of Season 3 of “Supergirl”.
Titled “Schott Through The Heart”, this episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Monday, April 16 at 8.00pm ET/PT.

When Winn’s (Jeremy Jordan) father dies, his estranged mother, Mary (guest star Laurie Metcalf), reappears trying to reconnect and to explain why she abandoned him all those years ago. Winn is too embittered from his rough childhood to forgive her but when a copycat Toyman attacks, the two must work together to stop him. Mon-El (Chris Wood) tells Kara (Melissa Benoist) something important about the Worldkillers, and Alex (Chyler Leigh) becomes suspicious of Myr’nn’s (guest star Carl Lumbly) recent behavior.

Watching Legends in it’s place the last several weeks has turned into the old saying, “running one’s fingernails down a blackboard”. This episode looks like another Supergirl in the back ground soap opera. I hope this show picks up and they get on with some excitement. The first part of the season featured quite a bit of “lack of Supergirl” in several episodes. I was hoping they were going to start off with some decent action. This does not look like that.
