The CW has announced that “Supergirl” will return after last night’s mid-season finale in 2018 on January 15.
Titled “Legion of Super-Heroes”, the return episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Monday, January 15 at 8.00pm ET/PT.

Very Interesting trailer that I didn’t get to see last night because there were technical difficulties with our local tv station before they could show the new trailer.

There were technical problems throughout the episode for me also. It would be a shame if this impacts the ratings for the episode. They had a chance to capitalize on the Crisis on Earth X crossover and then they bungle the signal.
From TV By the Numbers, Monday’s episode earned a 0.5/2 share and 1.81 million viewers. This is consistent with how the season has been apart from the crossover.
I’m guessing that device on Kara’s forehead is something Brianiac 5 will use to wake her up from the coma.
