“Supergirl” Moves to Sunday for Season 4

The CW announced their 2018-2019 schedule today, with the network revealing that “Supergirl” would be moving from Monday night to Sunday night for its 4th season.

“Supergirl” will remain at 8.00pm, but the move to Sunday nights will see the Girl of Steel followed by the new “Charmed” series.

“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” will take over the Monday night 8.00pm slot, followed by “Arrow” at 9.00pm. “The Flash” will hold its Tuesday night 8.00pm position, followed by “Black Lightning” at 9.00pm.

Meanwhile, EW.com has revealed that the Season 4 crossover event between The CW’s superhero shows will see the introduction of Batwoman to the “Arrowverse”.

“We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be doing another crossover event this fall on the CW, and we’ll be introducing a new character,” Arrow star Stephen Amell said at The CW’s upfront presentation. “For the very first time appearing, we’ll be fighting alongside Batwoman, which is terrific. The crossover is going to make it to air in December. I need to leave right now and start filming it.”

“We are adding the city of Gotham into the Arrowverse,” CW boss Mark Pedowitz added. “This will be another full-throttled, action-packed event.”

Would be fitting if Batwoman is on Supergirl’s Earth. I can see team-up possibles between them both! The Flash and the Arrow are on the same Earth so why not Supergirl and Batwoman?

It’s possible. Last season Supergirl did mention that her cousin worked with a vigilante, but she didn’t say it was Batman. It might be Batwoman. Although Bruce Wayne’s name was mentioned on the show Arrow, so in theory Batman does exist. But then again, the Green Arrow universe is a different multiverse than Supergirl’s. So maybe there is a Batwoman but no Batman in Kara’s Earth. Maybe they both exist. It would be cool to see Batman and Batwoman appear.

That is interesting to consider, though I think some people would get very angry if Bruce Wayne was not Batman in either or both universes.

I’d be fine with it since we already saw Barry Allen was not The Flash in Earth-2 and Robert Queen was The Arrow instead of Oliver Queen on the same Earth.

Bring on Batwoman! 😀 If they can bring on Batman too, I’d be all for it as well. 😀 I do wonder on which Earth this will take place on. So far, the majority of the crossovers, whether they be big or small events, have been to The Arrow and Flash Earth. I wonder if they will go to Supergirl’s Earth (Earth-38) this time? Also, with Gotham mentioned on both Supergirl and Arrow, Oracle mentioned on Arrow (as in the name was already in use), Bruce Wayne mentioned on Arrow by Oliver Queen himself and WayneTech mentioned early on in… Read more »
