“Super Sons” to Return in 12-Issue “Adventures of the Super Sons” Maxiseries

If you’re a fan of the “Super Sons” comic book title featuring Jon Kent/Superboy and Damian Wayne/Robin, then there’s good news coming out of DC Comics.

Many fans were concerned that with the “Super Sons” comic book title ending with issue #16 (scheduled for release May 30), their crossover with Dynomutt and Blue Falcon (also scheduled for release on May 30) would be the last we’d see of the pair.

Michael Shelling, Director of Publicity at DC Comics, announced via Twitter that writer Peter J. Tomasi will not only be returning to write the already-announced “Super Sons/Dynomutt” Special, but he’ll also be penning a 12-issue maxiseries titled “Adventures of the Super Sons” scheduled to be released on August 1.

No further details about the 12-issue maxiseries have been released as yet.

Hell yeah! I guess this is what Tomasi was saying that he wasn’t done with the SuperSons characters.

I just hope that Jon will be more powerful in this one, rather than being a freaking weakling all the time.
Damian is OP as hell so why not Jonno? >_>

Usually because of the weird double standard in modern comics where it’s okay for Batman to be overpowered despite all the pretensions about him being the most human or the most relatable, but not ok for Superman.

It’s also kind of the insidious thing of basically because Batman and Damian are usually the resident “badass” (mean and devious) then they always have the upper hand whereas Clark and John are basically nice people so they can’t because apparently nice people are lame and can’t possibly outsmart anyone.
