Stacey Farber Joins Cast of “Superman & Lois”

Stacey Farber

According to The Wrap, Stacey Farber (Degrassi) has joined the cast of “Superman & Lois” in a recurring role.

Farber’s character will be Leslie Larr, who is described as “the right hand to one of the most influential people on the planet, she’s gone from a young, idealistic dreamer to a hardened, world-worn dream killer. Athletic, strong… and oftentimes heartless.”

It is being speculated that “one of the most influential people” will turn out to be Lex Luthor, but there’s been no indication that Jon Cryer, who played the role on “Supergirl” in Season 5, is part of the “Superman & Lois” cast to date.

While the name “Leslie Larr” continues the long-standing tradition of having characters with the LL initials, Superman fans might recognize that it is similar to an obscure comic book character from the early 1960s called Lesla-Larr, who (first appearing in Action Comics #279, dated August 1961) was a Kryptonians living in the bottle city of Kandor, who became jealous of Kara Zor-El and the fame she gained on Earth as Supergirl.

Since this is more of Supergirl villain than Superman’s, a missed opportunity to add her into the Supergirl’s tv show. Would be great connection to both Supergirl and Superman & Lois tv shows. (As well as Jon’s Lex Luthor)
