The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has inadvertently revealed some SPOILER details for the upcoming animated movie “Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons”.
In an effort to explain why the animated movie is given a classification of “12 – Suitable for 12 years and over,” the BBFC has posted specific scene details, outlining the “violence,” “injury detail” and “threat and horror” viewers will be exposed to.
While little is known about Warner Bros. Animation’s first ever CG-animated film based on a DC property, “Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons” was announced during DC FanDome 2021, and was assumed to feature the sons of Superman and Batman, Jon Kent and Damian Wayne.
That part is now confirmed, with the BBFC calling the film “an animated fantasy action film in which the sons of two superheroes must join forces to save the planet.”
