“Smallville” Reunion Panel Video from Wizard World Cleveland

Wizard World Cleveland took place this past weekend at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, and fans attending were lucky enough to witness a mini “Smallville” reunion with Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Laura Vandervoort, John Glover and Alaina Huffman taking part in a “Smallville” panel.

A number of the cast members, including Michael Rosenbaum, also crashed a performance by the band Broken Transmitter.

Compared to Bryan Singer, she’s downright evil.

I have to watch this once I get the chance, but did anyone ever ask Tom why he never fully appeared as Superman (not the Blur) and wear the actual uniform?

Leave the man alone. I come back to this site and you’re still hating on the dude? After all this time…you’re still feeling sour about it? Your question has been asked and answered so many times, more recently on Michael Rosenbaum’s podcast. Give it a rest, already.

While I do think the question has been asked and answered, if he is showing up at panels for the show he has to expect that question in one form or another. I’m fine with his response of ‘it being Clark’s story.’ I don’t think that he’s ever going to say that he didn’t want to put on the suit or say that he’s willing to dawn the suit in the future. Perhaps the question just needs to be rephrased like ‘do you have any regrets not wearing the suit?’ And if he says no I myself am satisfied with… Read more »

I’m not hating, but just asking a legitimate question. That’s all.

I know that there is a Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, and Dean Cain panel event coming up soon. I wish that I could go to see that. I hope that someone will record the event and post it online. Three great actors who have played the role of Superman on stage at the same time. I so wish I could see that.

I always enjoyed his portrayal of Clark/Superman, but I feel like Dean Cain has been tarnishing his brand a bit lately. I don’t care where you land on the political spectrum, but when you publicaly come out and say you would knock out a kid, it’s not a good look for someone who is still trying to capitalize on his Superman persona.

This was such a great show. Not perfect but definitely one of the best shows ever. It really got me comfortable referring to Superman as Clark first and Superman second. I also loved how wholesome the show’s first couple of seasons were like but at the same time love how it gradually grew more involved in the DC Comics mythos. Great seeing many of the cast members, some of them haven’t really changed. I still love Alaina Huffman, to me, she is the definitive Black Canary while all the Canaries that the CW has makes me miss her all the… Read more »

For all of its faults, I Agree that there were many elements of the show that were great. I feel like the show would have greatly benefitted from shorter seasons and ending after 5 or 6. Ronenbaum was pitch perfect as Lex and to me is the actor to beat in the role. Also loved Schneider as Jonathan Kent who was the type of Jonathan I wanted in MOS… I liked Costner in the role, but Schneider was able to play the loving side of Pa Kent in addition to the concerned father. Only in one scene did we see… Read more »
