The complete DC superhero drama lands in select regions next week, though US fans will have to wait
Great news for international superhero fans: all 10 seasons of Smallville are coming to Netflix on January 13th, 2026, in a significant licensing deal that brings the beloved DC series to streaming audiences across multiple territories.
The complete 217-episode run of the show that chronicled Clark Kent’s journey from Kansas teenager to the Man of Steel will be available in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, and Austria. This marks a major win for Netflix subscribers in these regions, who will finally have access to the entire series that helped define superhero television in the 2000s.
However, this isn’t a global rollout. The series won’t be arriving in Latin American markets like Brazil and Argentina, nor in Asian territories including India and Japan, at least not in this initial wave. Most notably for North American fans, the United States is excluded from this release, as Smallville remains on Hulu, where it has streamed for several years.
The US absence is particularly interesting given that Warner Bros., which owns the DC properties, might seem like a natural fit for HBO Max. Industry observers suggest that when current licensing agreements expire, the series could eventually make its way to Netflix stateside, especially depending on ongoing Warner Bros. deal negotiations.
For now, though, international fans can mark their calendars for January 13th and prepare for a nostalgic journey back to Smallville, Kansas.
