I can see that they added a neck collar, but did they shorten the cape? If so, then they did a good job on the length. Not too short and not too long. Superman’s cape shouldn’t drag in my opinion.
Looks to me like the way they mold or make the suit that the muscular structure is built right into it.
This is the only new Superman news we get?? Pathetic at best.
Agreed. I get wanting to take some time, but it’s starting to look like WB is dragging their feet on everything. I just read that the Shazam kids are getting older now too with no news on that front either. I just don’t understand how they don’t have a definitive plan beyond ‘let’s see how things go.’
Here’s one other thing I didn’t like reading. Apparently there’s been a new gal that’s been appointed to run the WB movie division. DC movies are in that mix well. She was at some function regarding what her position was going to be responsible for and someone stood up and asked, “What about Batman and Superman?”..Her answer………”Wonder Woman!!!”
Yes well comments like that just highlight the fact that these corporate people don’t understand their own properties. I’m not saying that Kevin Fiege is the be all end all, but I wish we had an equivalent on the DC side… someone who came up through the ranks to learn what works and what doesn’t, and who truly loves, cares and understands the characters.
Corporate people such as Tsujihara, meme rich and this new person all have proven to show little understanding beyond the last thing that was profitable.
Call me old and boring, but I miss the days when we didn’t have to create fake, plastic, glossy costumes 🙁
Yeh, this was my beef with Superman’s costumes in the DC Universe. They started glossy and shiny and kept getting worse. He looks like a giant action figure in Justice League. You don’t need to have these really over-the-top muscle definitions. That’s why I generally preferred the look of Shazam! Muscle-bound looking without ridiculous detailed definition. Also, not shiny. I wish they had went with that for Superman.

“I’m Rob Schneider and this is my Superman Justice League costume unboxing video!”
Kidding aside I bet this guy had a blast like any of us would getting to be Superman even if it was only from the neck down.
