Sasha Calle Flies as Supergirl in Footage from London (Updated with Photos)

Footage of Sasha Calle as Supergirl, dangling from a crane during filming for the upcoming movie “The Flash” has leaked online, giving us a better idea of what her full costume will look like.

From all appearances, the Supergirl costume will look very much like the one seen in “Injustice” as worn by the character known as Lara Lane-Kent.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script by Christina Hodson, “The Flash” stars Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle and Billy Crudup. The film arrives in theaters November 4, 2022.

So from the look at the last photo at the bottom of the images, it looks like she will have a cape. I’m guessing they will cgi it in later for when she has her flight scenes. In my honest opinion, I think there needs to be red boots instead of blue. And maybe a red or yellow belt to divide some of that blue in the suit. And I just wish that they could’ve given her her own original S insignia instead of just modifying the one that is used for Cavill’s Superman. Maybe something reminiscent of the Cir-El… Read more »

I totally agree with you on the boots. I think some more red at the bottom would be great. Overall I still like this look.

Let’s remember that this is not a Supergirl movie, it is a Flash movie, and about parallel worlds at that. No telling how long her part in this will be. Like many of you, I hope something better comes from this, but for now, I’m not gonna be too picky

True. I just wish that they had given her an original design rather than one that’s been modified from Cavill’s symbol.

I’m not a huge fan of the S shield blending into a red, “Star Trek” style shoulder area, but color me intrigued for the film.

I’m really excited about Keaton returning as Batman. Michael is my favorite Batman, just like how Reeve is my favorite Superman. Routh comes second to Reeve, so if they were to bring in Routh’s Superman then I’d be really excited for this film. My favorite superhero is Superman followed by Batman. So fingers crossed, that we will get to see a Routh Superman meets Keaton Batman scene. 🙂

Amigo, we’ve been friends for a long time, so I hope you understand where I’m coming from when I say that the ones true Batman is, was, and always shall be Adam West!!

Did you see the Big Bang Theory episode with Adam West? “ What’s an Affleck?” Lol 😀 I grew up watching the Keaton Batman films. Michael is the first Batman that I had seen growing up. My dad even gave me a Michael Keaton Batman Halloween mask when I was a kid. I wore it every Halloween. Often I would repeat the famous” I’m Batman!” line. A lot of fond memories with that Batman mask. Sadly that mask deteriorated over the years. So much so that I can no longer wear it. Luckily a good buddy of mine gave me… Read more »

I saw Adam West and Burt Ward at a Con in 2013. For being ~85, West looked pretty decent and was very spry. Burt Ward looked like the Thing That Ate Burt Ward.
I saw the TBBT episode with him, and props for his always being a good sport. If you haven’t seen it, look up the short video “Batman’s Garage Sale” he did back around 2008-09.
It’s not mine, but someone made a trailer of what a Justice League movie would have looked like in 1991.

You’re lucky to have seen a legend. Wish I could’ve been there. Unfortunately now just as with both the legendary Christopher Reeve and Stan Lee, I’ve missed my chance. I’m pretty sure that Adam West guest starred in the 90’s kids series goosebumps as a spoof of his Batman. I don’t remember the name of the episode though. I know that he played the Grey Ghost, a homage of himself on the Batman the animated series. He also voiced himself in one of the LEGO Batman video games I think. He wrote a book about his life. I have a… Read more »

Awesome Justice League fan trailer afriend. Thanks for sharing it. This is definitely a film that I just wish that WB had made. I like the way that whoever made this fan trailer made it to look like a VHS movie from the early 90’s. Has a vintage quality look about it. I actually met John Wesley Shipp at the Garden State Comic Fest a while back. Four years ago I think. He was really nice. I went there with my mother. So when I went up to get my picture taken with him he said “ ok let’s get… Read more »

Well….I guess that would depend on ones definition of “true Batman”.

Not sure if someone has already said this, but I’m glad they’re going with Lara Lane-Kent rather than Kara. I imagine this is an extension of the end of Zack’s Justice League where Lois was carrying a baby cradle. Also glad its not Jonathan Kent. Superboy is great, but it’s nice to see them switch it up.

Has it been announced that it’s Lara Lane-Kent? Did I miss the announcement?

I really don’t like to have a latin Supergirl and black Superman (not if they’re the only ones in the DC cinematic universe) don’t think about it as a racist comment, this is not the intention (I’m spanish therefore I’m latin too). If we have only 1 version of the characters I prefer to have the original ones. Let me explain myself. If I already have an original Superman with his movies (alone or simple cameos) and then they make something separate of the main story and use the multiverse to do for example a Calvin Ellis movie, I’m completely… Read more »
