Sam Jones III Says Allison Mack was Normal on “Smallville”

With Allison Mack facing 15 years to life in jail for the part she allegedly played in recruiting slaves for sex cult run by leader Keith Raniere, it was only a matter of time until someone approached one of her “Smallville” cast mates to get their reaction.

A TMZ reporter caught up with Sam Jones III, who played Peter Ross on “Smallville”, and who himself has had problems with the law, and asked him for his reaction to the situation with Allison Mack.

“Everybody’s been blowing up my phone for the last couple of days,” commented Sam, who says that Mack never showed any signs of being into anything abnormal during their time working on the TV series.

“I guess she just became freaky! The inner freak just came out of her or something,” he continued.

“At the end of the day, hopefully everybody involved is okay, and hopefully she bounces back from it.”

This thing takes freak of the week to a whole other level. Too bad it’s not as simple as having some meteor bits make her crazy.

Not to disparage Sam Jones, but if the allegations are true, I’m not sure I want her to “bounce back.”

It would be one thing if she fell into ritualistic drug use or some wacky religious cult. But she’s accused of recruiting sex slaves. That’s not just ruining your own life, you’re destroying the lives of countless others. I’ll try my best to reserve judgement and allow due process to run its course, but if she really did these things, I think she might deserve some real hatred.

And that’s not something I say lightly.

It’s weird hearing his take on things because of the drug mess he got into that sidelined his career. But he’s right about one thing; we should wait to make sure the accusations are true before we rush to judgement. (Because she’s accused of some messed up stuff)
