The moral of the story is always budget for filming a resolution to your cliffhanger…

Even though that this series never had a proper send off, I like to think Clark and Lois adopted the little baby. It comes full circle in a way. Jonathan and Martha found baby Clark in his ship wrapped in a blanket with the house of -El insignia. 30 or so years later Clark and Lois discover a little baby wrapped in a similar blanket as well. I know it’s not the ideal ending, but at least it’s a happy one I like to think.

I recall reading that the producers said it was going to be the royal baby from the New Krypton from the previous season’s cliffhanger arc. Lois & Clark were to be keeping him safe from Kryptonian extremists.

Yeah I heard something about that as well. I also remember hearing that Dean Cain wanted to do a revival of the series to give it a proper ending. That was a few years ago, so I don’t know if it will ever happen now. If it happens, great, it would have my full support if it does and I’ll be very happy to watch it, but I really don’t think it’s likely going to happen at this point.
