Reissue Edition of “Superman: Miracle Monday” Now Available!

Happy Miracle Monday! Author Elliot S! Maggin has released a reissued edition of his 1981 novel “Superman: Miracle Monday”, which is available today (May 15, 2017 – Miracle Monday) in print, ebook and audio version.

Published by Caveat Corner Books, with a new cover by Ken Penders, “Superman: Miracle Monday” was originally published to coincide with the release of “Superman II” in 1981. The novel tells the story of Superman as he tries to stop an entity of pure evil from causing universal chaos. This was Maggin’s second Superman novel, the first being “Superman: Last Son of Krypton” (published in 1978).

Well, I get that they needed a new cover (since they did not wish to pay whatever royalties there are to the original cover, involving images from “Superman II” owned by Warner Brothers). But this cover does seem a bit strange, not at all what I would have expected.
