Warner Bros. Home Video has released a preview video from the upcoming release of “Justice League” to Blu-ray/DVD.
The following video is a preview of the “Suit Up: The Look of the League” featurette, in which Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson explores the innovation and artistry that goes into creating the costumes of DC’s iconic heroes.

The more close ups of his suit I see certainly reveal that the material is unlike anything else we’ve seen before. It gives the suit creators a lot more flexibility to add muscular definition in areas that unlike past actors that have played the role, could only rely on their bodies and how the suit solely defined them. All the previous actors that played Superman wore a suit that was more along the spandex material.
Hate that they put metal plates under the suit. They look way too obvious. Henry has an credible build as it is. I see what they were trying to achieve with them, but possibly just painting the under suit more reflective in key areas may have had the same result…
I’m not a costume designer by any stretch, so I’m sure they knew what they were doing when they began.
