It appears as though a major spoiler for the “Justice League” movie may have accidentally been revealed via a sweepstakes contest for “The Big Bang Theory” TV show.
While we know that Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg are the main characters in the film, it’s no great spoiler that Superman will also appear at some point in the movie. However, the appearance of another character may have just been revealed by accident.

Green Lantern!
The sweepstakes, which was removed soon after it was posted, (but as we know, once something is posted online it’s almost impossible to withdraw it), features a spinning wheel in which fans are supposed to click to unlock prizes and videos, shows the Green Lantern symbol.
While Henry Cavill has hinted via Instagram about an appearance by either a Green Lantern or the Green Lantern Corp., there has been no information officially linking GL to this movie.
As we know, Steppenwolf states in a trailer for the movie, “No protectors here… no Lanterns, no Kryptonian. This world will fall, like all the others.”
Perhaps he’s wrong on all accounts. Time will tell…
“Justice League” will be released to theatres on November 17, 2017.
My theory is that if there is a lantern in the film it will be Abin Sur and he will show up to help in the fight (perhaps that is who Alfred is talking to?) and dies helping to protect the Earth. Then we see the ring finding Hal or John at the end or in a post credit scene.
That would be awesome if that happened. I think that would give the Green Lantern mythos a fresh coat of paint for a new movie audience

Well when BvS started its marketing campaign, they did have that pic of Aquaman with “Unite the Seven” over it… I always expected a Lantern to show up.
While I think Green Lantern will be cool, it still doesn’t explain the scene with Bruce looking at what looks like Supergirl’s leg. It didn’t look like Superman’s. I still think we may see an appearance with Supergirl. Besides isn’t that Penny dressed as Supergirl in the front? Ut-oh another clue.
I think they’re going to try and get Superman’s house in order before they start introducing his side characters. If anything I think it would be a holographic Easter egg of her and nothing more. Maybe to show that kryptonians helped with the first battle with Apokolips.
