Justice League is better than expected, but not a home run. The interaction between the team is a lot of fun. The film sends the DCEU in a hopeful direction in line with where the brand should be headed. Flash and Aquaman steal the show. Cyborg and villain are the weak links.

People that have complained about DC movies being too dark are about to see the light #JusticeLeague pic.twitter.com/eB1JoNJTvi

Justice League is not a perfect movie. It has story “flaws” and a simple, CGI villain.
BUT, more importantly, it gets the heroes right. Every member of the League is fantastic and it’s tough to choose a favorite.
It’s a ton a fun, start to finish.

SO I saw #JusticeLeague -twice. Still under embargo, but: This is a fun superhero flick. Funny but still hero adventure. Reminds me of JL Unlimited ep. Likable interaction amongst recognizable heroes. There is a villain problem (no worse than Marvel’s) – @aaronsagers

I saw #JusticeLeague! Here’s what I thought. There are ton of things I’d change but it comes down to this: I had a blast! I got to see the team together and I had fun watching it. Ezra Miller steals the movie and #WonderWoman was perfect! pic.twitter.com/rgCI9fUuTs

I am genuinely happy to report #JusticeLeague is a lot of fun. It’s not perfect and has its problems, but does the job of making you care about these characters as a team by its end. It’s also VERY funny, in lots of unexpected ways. pic.twitter.com/1AAjYgv16i

Best news about JL we needed to hear
I’m not so sure. They raved about Thor and that was a comedy. A fest of jokes, wise cracks and making a fool out of the Hulk. So if they liked it, it gives me some pause for thought. I will be finding out as I will be at the first matinee showing this Friday!
I predict that the movie is going to fly by. How they’re going to accomplish time towards what they need to in 2 hours, I will have to see and feel. Like Snyder’s direction or not, the last thing I want to see is a JL that revolves around Marvel style of lightness. But….I can hardly wait!! I hope Steve will leave up the thread regarding our thoughts of what we thought of it. I want to hear from everyone!!
The comparison to JLU is hopeful, and makes me wonder why the heck they don’t just hire Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, et al. to work on the movies. For decades, DC Animation has been putting out some of the best iterations of these characters. I am kinda worried about the 2 hour imposed run-time. Shortening a film is usually something the studio does when they know it sucks, and they want to get as much money as possible out of it on opening day, with as many showings as possible, before Word of Mouth spreads. But even with that… Read more »
I hope it’s not too short. But, knowing Snyder’s history, we’ll probably get an extended home version for us fans.
I wholeheartedly agree. Just like you, I hope we get a nice extended edition with lots of beautiful extra footage for the DVD/BluRay release.
With words like ‘entertaining and Fun’ Associated with a Snyder film, that makes me smile. I can’t wait to see it. I won’t read any more reviews, since I’ll see for myself next week. One of the guys quoted says it was ‘a blast’, and a friend of mine saw it and Loved it, so hopefully this will do well and they’ll finally announce a Man Of Steel 2 !!!!
There were quite a few reviews out yesterday. One thing I have noticed. There has not been one mention of Superman. I look forward to discuss JL. Can’t believe it’s finally here!!
Considering the lengths the WB has gone to to make us think Superman isn’t in the movie (maybe because he might not be), I wouldn’t be surprised if those who’ve been allowed to see it have been forbidden from saying anything one way or the other about Superman’s potential return.
There are those who mention him being one of the best of the movie, one said “you know who’s return made me cry, so will you”. These are not full reviews, once those are revealed, they more than likely will talk about the Man of Steel.
News like this bring a smile to my face. One week to go. Everybody is feeling the hype.
Can’t wait. These reactions are what we needed to hear.
Well it seems like the majority liked it, except for this one guy who works for a click bait website that kinda surprises me that he even got invited.
But I’m still not 100% positive it will get over 1 billion, the time of year and competition in the BO are too much for JL I’m afraid.
All I can say is that it stinks not being able to tell anyone about a movie you have seen, but cant say one… single… word!
As always though, all I can say is, go watch it, and make up your own mind weather it is good or not. I just hated seeing bloggers and celebrity podcasters force their opinion on BvS. Picking it apart and failing to mention what the great points about it were.
Yea isn’t that the truth. Those forced opinions categorized the entire movie. And they gave in an over the top negative spin that it no way deserved.
These positive reactions make me feel happy. I cannot wait to see this movie. The fact that I’ll get to see The Flash and Aquaman on the big screen for the first time is already exciting enough. But of course, the number one reason I that I can’t wait to the film for is Superman. Hopefully the film will be a blast!
