YVRShoots has been on location in Surrey, Canada taking some interesting behind-the-scenes photos during filming of The CW’s upcoming “Elseworlds” superhero crossover event.
Warning: Some of the photos could be considered “Spoiler” material by fans.
Below are a selection of photos, most including Tyler Hoechlin as Superman (in his classic red and blue costume), and others with Tyler wearing an all-black version (possibly an alternate reality Superman).
There are also some photos showing Tyler and Elizabeth Tulloch filming together. One in which Superman appears to swoop in and catch a falling Lois Lane, and another where Elizabeth seems to be using Tyler as a resting pillow in between takes.
Be sure to visit YVRShoots’ Twitter account for more photos.
The special 3-night “Elseworlds” crossover event will begin in “The Flash” on Sunday, December 9 at 8.00pm ET, and then continue in “Arrow” on Monday, December 10 at 8.00pm ET, and will conclude with “Supergirl” on Tuesday, December 11 at 8.00pm ET.
“Easy Ms. I’ve got you.”
“If you’ve got me; who’s got YOU?!”
I couldn’t resist it I HAD to do it.
I have no shame.
“ Well I hope this little incident hasn’t put you off flying miss. Statistically speaking of course ,it’s still the safest way to travel.”
Looking at the ground in some of these photos, I’m getting the impression that there will be a good Superman vs evil Superman fight scene. The floor tiles look the same to me. From what I can also tell by looking at these photos , he’s reading a book with weird writing.
I’m also surprised to see John Wesley Ship in his original Flash suit……..
This is going to be EPIC!!!!!
Is that the original one or one that resembles it? It’s been so long since I saw his original Flash that I don’t remember the suit completely.
Now that you mention it, yes. The tiles are the same. I didn’t realise it until you said it. You have a good eye for details.
Thank you for the compliment kal-bert. I appreciate it.I looked up some images of John Wesley Shipp’s Flash on google. As far as I could tell, it’s the same design. I don’t know if it’s the exact one, since deterioration might factor into the original suit because of time . But as far as I can tell, it looks the same.
well, the boots look marginally better at least
Look who’s in that final photo next to Oliver!Flash…it’s John Wesley Shipp as the 1990s Flash!
I’ve met John Wesley Shipp. He’s a great guy.
Looking at these pictures, it looks to me that Superman’s red and blue uniform still has a leather cape, but his black one has a cloth.
[spoiler title=” “] possible spoilers for this link. I say this because I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone who doesn’t want to know yet. I don’t know what this person is saying, but it looks like the main villain may be shown in the images that this person put in this video.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G42KJnREpZ8
One of the reasons I really love the arrowverse shows is they pay tribute to what’s come before them. Little nods here and there. Like Ray’s throw away line in the crossover where they all meet Kara: “She looks a little like my cousin!” or When Barry originally went into the multiverse(or was it time?) you saw 1990’s Flash. Just the fact they lovingly acknowledge where everything came from and also find a way to work it into the story just makes it fantastic. Oh and I’m glad to see that it looks like I was wrong and it’s not… Read more »
I found a link to this website and there’s a picture of Grant Gustin showing his fandom for Superman. It’s really nice seeing him show his love for the man of steel.https://amp.reddit.com/r/FlashTV/comments/99neab/im_sure_grant_gustin_is_excited_about_superman_in/
It’s that time of the week again where I give everyone a thumbs up. Happy Friday everyone!
