After taking a year off in 2020 from posting any fake news stories for April Fools Day, in 2021 we caught out quite a few unsuspecting fans with two made up news items.
“Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Injustice is Negative” Coming to HBO Max
A year after its release on HBO Max, fans will have yet another version of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” available to watch… the “Injustice is Negative” inverse edition of the 4-hour movie.
Last month HBO Max released the “Justice is Gray” edition of the movie. Now, as a new form of artistic styling, Zack Snyder will create a version of the black and white film in which all the visual are reversed – like a film negative.
“Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Injustice is Negative,” will begin streaming on HBO Max in 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos on supported devices on April 1, 2022.
There are no differences between previous versions released in color and black and white… other than the fact that only April Fools will be looking for this version on HBO Max.
“Superman & Lois” to Add Twin Daughters
When “Superman & Lois” returns from the break caused by delays caused by COVID-19 restrictions, the series will introduce fans to two new members of Clark and Lois’ family, with twin daughters to be added to the show.
Sources close to the production have revealed that unknown to Superman and Lois, the pair are also parents to twin girls, who, due to the events of Crisis, are currently in the care of Captain Luthor. The reason Luthor hates Superman so much, is not only due to the fact that his version of the Man of Steel destroyed his earth, but he is also the father of twin girls to Lois Lane, who was Captain Luthor’s wife.
Also aged 14, like their “brothers” Jonathan and Jordan, it is as yet unknown which, if either, has super powers. The twin girls will appear in the 9th episode of Season 1 of “Superman & Lois” titled “April Fools”.
