On the back of Henry Cavill announcing that he is officially back as Superman, there have been some interesting reactions across the internet.
Some so-called “journalists,” with obvious allegiances to the out-going regime at Warner Bros. Pictures, were claiming that Henry’s announcement was nothing more than a bold bid to goad the studio’s executives to give me a new deal, and not an actual official announcement of anything substantial. Dwayne Johnson, who was instrumental in getting Henry back as Superman, posted his own reaction to Henry’s announcement saying, “We fought for years to bring you back. They always said ‘no’. But to [Dany Garcia], [Hiram Garcia] & myself ‘no’ was not an option. We can’t build out our DCEU w/out the world’s greatest superhero. And fans will always come first. Welcome home. I’ll see you down the road.

Meanwhile, fan reaction across social media has been overwhelmingly positive, with many excited to see what comes next for Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel.

Such a great time to be a Superman fan! I was recently speaking to my coworker who had many criticisms of DC’s films.
