The CW has released 20 images and two promotional posters for the 10th episode of Season 3 of “Supergirl”.
Titled “The Legion of Super-Heroes”, this episode is scheduled to air on The CW in the USA on Monday, January 15 at 8.00pm ET/PT.
MEET THE LEGION
Struggling to heal from her injuries inflicted by Reign (Odette Annable), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) remains in a dreamlike state, unable to be reached. Mon-El (Chris Wood) recruits one of the Legion members, Brainiac-5 (guest star Jesse Rath), to try to bring her back. Meanwhile, Reign continues her rampage on the city so the DEO teams up with the Legion of Superheroes to try to stop her.

Brainiac 5 looks ridiculous. And as for the others I was hoping that we could avoid the black leather, biker look. Supergirl’s costume is fairly comic book accurate(a little muted, but otherwise fine) I was hoping that the show would not be afraid to let their heroes look the part.
I’m thinking that they are wearing D.E.O uniforms and not necessarily Legion uniforms. Then again I did notice Saturngirl’s insignia on her uniform. Maybe they add there own symbols on to the D.E.O uniforms?I guess we will just have to wait and see. I have a feeling that Kara and Brainiac 5 will become friends. That’s just my guess though. I could be wrong. This episode does have my attention. I do think that there will be some plot twists in the episode. As to what those plot twist are, I’ll have to see the episode.
I have to agree about Brainiac 5 plus he looks kind of green then white, maybe the makeup department didn’t want him looking quite alien looking or more human. CW was pretty good at matching comic book looks to the like characters, but kind of missing the mark with the Legion from those pictures. Also Rein looks nothing like comic book version either, wonder why they suddenly changing styles? Also Lighting Lad or I think that’s Lighting Lad, but why dose he have a beard? That’s a suit? Reminds me more of the leather coat Clark wore in Smallville. And why would he have the same powers as Kara? He comes from a different planet. Since day one of his arrival I haven’t seen any consistency regarding his powers or for the most part, if he has any! This is the CW playing more games with the originality of these comic book characters.
Mon-el is a Daxamite who have similar powers of Superman…but their weakness is lead not Kryptonite…CW I guess doesn’t read comic books
My point was, was that he’s been on the show for some time now and really hasn’t done much in a way of showing any of his(yet to seen), powers. Supergirl has b-slapped him around and I have yet to see anything that would compare the two. Basically he’s just been there as Kara’s love interest. With that apparently changing he’s now gonna what, become Superman-ish and start flying next to Supergirl? Doesn’t make sense.
well they can write it as Mon-El’s powers taking longer to develop and personally Mon-El having his full powers would allow them to have a “Superman” without having a Superman. Right now he is just there and honestly there is no need to have him on the show outside of drama.
I honestly have felt that this season has been supremely lackluster and the bad costuming of Reign and the Legion is just adding on to it.
Sooo they are still wearing leather in the 30th Century ?
They look more like Phantom Zoners than they do Legion. Mon-El might as well be Zod and Imra the new Ursa.
As for Brainy…guys, I know you an do better make-up than this.
