In a recent round-table conversation held during San Diego Comic-Con, actress Odette Annable spoke about her role as the Worldkiller, Reign, what her agenda is, and how this will impact on Kara in Season 3 of “Supergirl”.
“Reign, as most of you probably know, is a Worldkiller. She was bioengineered in a lab. She was sent from Krypton like Kara and Clark, but her story is going to be different than other villain’s that you’ve seen,” Supergirl star Odette Annable teased of her new character. “She doesn’t come to Earth to go on a killing spree. She had a very specific agenda that she is out to [achieve] and you’ll see that story unfold throughout the season. For me, it’s really amazing because it’s kind of a heartbreaking story and I think you’ll feel for her.”
Unable to reveal too much more about her character, Annable did go on to say that her character’s arc would explore the whole “nature vs nurture” debate.
“Supergirl” Season 3 premieres on Monday, October 9, at 8.00pm on The CW.
