More Supergirl and more Superman, bring. it. on!

Great cover homage. Even though I hated Kara getting killed off when I was a kid still gotta love that George Perez art. Can’t help but notice the way the cape attachment is set up on Tyler’s Superman costume kind of looks like the shoulder design of comicbook Kara’s 80’s costume. Still kinda wish they’d fix it so it overlaps the sides of the collar and line’s up the bottom of it.

Her death was just as iconic as Barry Allen’s Flash. And only one issue apart. Those were moving and heart wrenching moments in comic book history. Now that you mention the Cape similarities you’re damn right. Good observation.
