Nicolas Cage will finally get to play Superman!
As you know, Nicolas Cage was cast to play Superman in the never-made, live-action film “Superman Lives” back in the late 1990s. While he held out hope for many years to still play the Man of Steel one day, Nicolas Cage will now fulfill that dream when he voices the role of Superman in the animated movie “Teen Titans GO! To The Movies”.
Singer/songwriter Halsey will voice the role of Wonder Woman, while rapper Lil Yachty will voice Green Lantern.
“Teen Titans GO! To The Movies” is an upcoming 2018 animated superhero comedy film based on the television series “Teen Titans Go!”. Existing in the same continuity as their crazy yet still active show on Cartoon Network, the Teen Titans find out that other DC superheroes seem to have films produced, so they seek out the perfect director for their debut on the big screen, but an old enemy has other ideas planned for them.
“Teen Titans GO! To The Movies” will be in theatres on July 27, 2018.

I think Nicolas Cage should be given a chance to voice Superman again in an animated film or animated series. He clearly loves Superman, and he has done animated work before. I remember seeing the movie Astro boy, where Nic voiced Astro’s dad. He did a good job in that film. I wish him the best of luck in the role of Superman.
